Through engaging the participant physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, participants may gain opportunity to build the cornerstones of resilience. In belonging to a positive, socially supportive environment, participants may gain a foundation of strength, confidence and assertiveness. By engaging participants in activity that is fun and encourages laughter and good spirit, participants can begin to reduce stress and experience a sensation of readiness surrounding the physically challenging aspects of programming.

Warrior leaders participate alongside program members, surviving difficult components together. It is within this team structure that the development of self-regulation, discipline and empowerment may be fostered.
